Resources for nonmonogamous/polyam folks
Book Polysecure: Attachment, Trauma and Consensual Non-monogamy by Jessica Fern - This book explores how attachment theory can inform and support healthy polyamorous relationships.
Podcast Multiamory hosted by Emily, Dedeker, and Jase. This podcast offers insights and advice for people exploring polyamory and non-monogamous relationships, including strategies for managing jealousy and building healthy communication practices.
Book The Polyamory Breakup Book: Causes, Prevention, and Survival by Katrhy Labriola — This book supports polyam folks in navigating breakups, as one might expect from the title.
Book Polyamory: A Clinical Toolkit for Therapists (and Their Clients) by Martha Kauppi — While I’ve never been completely impressed with the information in poly books, this one is the most thorough I’ve come across yet. Some sections might feel unhelpful for non-therapists, but there is plenty to work with.
Website (and podcast of the same name) Non-Monogamy Help by Kathy Slaughter, LCSW — When folks are looking for targeted support by topic, this is an especially useful site. The author covers a wide range of topics relevent to non-monogamous folks.
